June 2018 Update

Posted by Rockstone20101 on June 5, 2018 at 5:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Hello all.

It's been a fun 8 years of brickfilming and all, but I guess it's time to let my channel be. At least for now.

I've made enough green screen videos to last around two more years, so even if I'm gone my channel will have new videos until those run out. Then it may be inactive for some time.

I'm letting it be because want to try out and focus on other things. I may be back, but I don't know when.

Anyway for those who care, thanks for all your support and for finally getting 1k subs! Only took a decade hehe...

My best regards to y'all.

Belated Happy Valentine's Day!

Posted two new vids in my channel, go check it out (link in the "About" page). Wow, 4 months already since the last post! Busy time, huh? (Too bad I'm single... ah well).

On another note, I'd just like to mourn the end of Gravity Falls (yesterday was the first anniversary of its final episode). Very great cartoon, and I'll miss it... BUT MY AIM–

Well, till next time!

November 2016 Update

Posted by Rockstone20101 on November 30, 2016 at 3:25 AM Comments comments (0)

It's back! After years of inactivity and rotting away, I've managed to overhaul the website! Mostly decluttered it and simplified certain features of it. The WIP list is still there, but removed mostly the old video updates. Also got rid of the videos tab: you wanna watch them, just go to my channel lol XDDDD.

My Lego army has changed a lot. My equipment and software... not so much. Though I'm so busy nowadays, expect this website to be updated every month (at the very most), and at least one video per month or two.

Some of the latest videos I've done:" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> - In memory of my now retired NationStates nation, Tolmakia." target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> - A reel of my Lego version's "travels" in Marinduque (October/November, 2016)." target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> - 2016 Halloween vid! Missed the last one before." target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> - My military as of late 2016!

P.S. sorry for the broken format. Need to refamiliarize myself again with this site.

September/October Update

At last, I'm back! I'm really sorry for not posting for a video in a while. During the time I was inactive, I was busy with school (still am) or with other things I'm also still exploring (animation, writing, and stuff). Finally got a new camera to use for my films. Expect more holiday brickfilms from me (for Christmas mostly)! Thanks also for the many views, and happy halloween!

August Update

A fair August to thee!

Hello again, and sorry for no Brickfilms. Unfortunately I'm gonna be getting my camera by the last week of August. If that still doesn't happen, I might as well use a phone camera. Not much has been happening as well except that I have new military creations and stuff.

July Update

Hello there to the watchers and hopeful fans. My new camera is arriving this August, and more school work is seen on the horizon. Still not much news. Oh except for some new military creations! Not so much though, just a handful of new additions to my military MOCs.

Also you may or may not heard of this cool online game called Nation States. Its not flash, or 3d. But its awesome! You can role play as a country, a ruler of a country, "sell" goods and make businesses, and even go to war and make alliances! Go check it out. I've been spending most of my free time there (since I don't have any camera yet). My country is Tolmakia.

Also thanks for the 200 subs! :D

May/June Update

Hey guys who are still reading this. Good news: my camera's been picked and is being shipped RIGHT now! Although I'll need a bit of rescheduling and some reshooting, I'll be filming as soon as I get my camera. Also in other unrelated news I just passed my summer exams and so I've got more time again! So expect some new vids VERY soon (maybe 2 months most? I hope). :D

April Update

Hey there, fellow reader! Been some time since I last touched this blog. Just posting a quick update though. I will be getting a new (not to mention, sleek, "high tech-er") camera with a remote shutter. As soon as I get it, I shall get back to Brickfilming! I know I said that back then, but this time it is 100% guaranteed.

At the meantime, I've been doing some "art" (not so artistic, just some drawings) on DeviantArt. You can go check them out, the link is on the "About" page on this web. The "art" I draw are just some people drawn Adventure Time Style, fictional characters, my made-up characters or some other movie characters (or book characters) drawn in AT style. I have long stopped animating using Adobe Flash because I only had a trial which expired a month or so ago, and I have yet to show what I have done so far.

March Update

Posted by Rockstone20101 on March 5, 2014 at 8:55 PM Comments comments (0)

So unfortunately, I cant get a new camera this month, so no new Brickfilms for now (again). If I still can't get a new camera, I might consider using a phone to make Brickfilms (I tried a test with it, and it works amazingly, but the quality of the video is quite low).

On the other hand, I'll be on Twitter all week (except Sundays or if the internet is bad) just posting stuff. I've recently hit 600 followers and 173 subs (thanks to them all and to you if you're one of them)! Thanks to you, thanks to anyone who cares to read this. Also, I'll be "dormant" for a while until I finish my school reviews and get a new camera. I PROMISE I will make a lego Brickfilm before November. :D

Crossbow Shooting

Just turned my favorite activity into a short Brickfilm. The last pictures the camera I was using took before breaking bad (Breaking Bad music plays).

Second Youtube Channel

Posted by Rockstone20101 on February 12, 2014 at 5:05 AM Comments comments (0)

I just started animating some cartoons and such and thought that I would share it in the future. But I needed another channel to upload these videos since I did not want them to mix up with my "all-lego video" channel. So I refurbished my second (originally backup) account and so you should go check it. I'll be uploading not only cartoons, but also some non-lego stop motion videos, nature or "ambience" videos, even some other miscellaneous videos like events or just me shooting crossbows or something. Check it out here.

Trying Out Different Stuff

Posted by Rockstone20101 on February 7, 2014 at 9:40 PM Comments comments (0)

With my camera broken, I thought it was a perfect opportunity for me to try other styles of animation (aside from chilling). I just recently watched Domic's cartoon-style videos and was inspired to do that kind of animation (seriously, not only were they hilarious and entertaining, but the drawings were irresistibly adorable). Subscribe to him! ( He also does comics.

For the meantime, I'm just trying out cartoon-style animation with adobe flash trial, and so far, my film tests are improving. I might post some of them, but otherwise expect some brief period of time without some lego vids.

Broken Camera, New Equipment

Posted by Rockstone20101 on February 7, 2014 at 9:30 PM Comments comments (0)

Heeey! So, guess what? The camera I was using (which by the way was not mine, deepest apologies to owner) broke down. So now, aside from lending my money to fix it up, I can't brickfilm or even take a decent picture, because the lenses and imaging sensors are damaged (I honestly don't know why it randomly broke, perhaps dust). But then, the timing of the "availabilty" of new equipment couldn't be better. Despite my "funds" being low, my "funders" (A.K.A, my parents, as of now) told me recently that I could get a better camera, one that even comes with the right equipment perfect for making a decent Brickfilm. I usually had to resort to taking pictures manually, which would slightly move the camera. But now, it comes with a remote shutter, lights, etc.

Random Party!!!

Whats worse than not being invited to a party? Being the unsuspecting host of it, that is. Didn't need an invitation at all then.

New Visual FX

After working on a Brickfilm, "Operation Enphinate", I had some green screen FX "leftovers". I thought I could share them as well. Not only that, but I also had one blue screen effect (which is my first, and that makes me a bit proud) which I'd thought I'd share too.
